Sans Established in 1975, this little known estate is one Heathcote’s oldest and along with Jasper Hill and Mt Ida was one of the pioneering vineyards of the region. Further plantings were made in 1996, the dry grown vines from both vineyards now well established with deep roots in the mineral rich Cambrian soil. Winemaking is undertaken by the talented Mark Hunter from Sanguine Estate and maturation takes place in French oak barriques for a period of 18 months.
