Sans A blend of 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Malbec and 1% Merlot matured in French oak barriques (34% new) for a period of 18 months.Midnight black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Nosing offers up pronounced blackcurrant scents subtlety infused with black olive followed by some dusty vanillin cedar, light tobacco and spicy bay leaf. Mid weighted with fleshy blackcurrant fruits framed by medium grained tannins and bright acidity. Cedary tobacco, black olive and earthy bay leaf accents ensue. Stern feel with a relatively elegant conclusion.Drink over the next 8-10 years.Alc. 14.5%
