Dense inky black heart with a deep dark purple black tinged hue. Red to black currant, red liquorice and mulberry aromas swamp the olfactory senses followed by some dusty vanillin cedar, subtle tobacco and gentle bay leaf notes. Elegant red to black currant and red liquorice fruits line the palate framed by sturdy, fine grained tannins and a youthful freshness. Showing ample richness and depth, notions of spicy vanillin cedar, delicate tobacco, gentle earth and bay leaf are evident through the back half.
