Product

Grapes (Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella) are hand-harvested. Vineyards sit at 150�60 m a.s.l. on calcareous soils in the Marcellise hills of Valpolicella. Vines are trained Guyot at ~5,000 vines/ha. Fermentation with selected yeasts under controlled temperatures with daily pump-overs and punch-downs for about 7 days. After fermentation, the wine is aged in stainless steel tanks for 6 months before bottling. Bright cherry and redcurrant on the nose, with a touch of spice. Fresh and dry on the palate, showing juicy red fruit, fine tannins and lively acidity, finishing clean and precise.
