Hand-harvested from a single vineyard with low yields of 28 hl/ha. Part of Château Daugay’s low-intervention range, this wine reflects a commitment to site expression. Whole berry vatting in stainless steel tanks with a short pre-fermentation cold maceration, protected by inert gas. Quick fermentation at low temperatures lasted 12 days at 24°C with commercial yeast. Aged for 6 months in old 400L barrels. Elegant and refined, this wine reveals aromas of ripe red fruits, subtle earthiness, and a touch of spice. On the palate, it is soft yet structured, with a fresh finish and a delicate integration of barrel influence.
