Sans La Santa de Ursula is a new bottling from the northeast coast of Tenerife in an area called La Carujera, part of the Tacoronte-Acentejo appellation. It’s a blend of three parcels of 100+ year old vines planted on sandy clay over red basalt bedrock, situated between 350m and 650m above sea level. The blend is 48% Negramoll, 50% Listán Negro, and 2% Listán Blanco, which are vinified partially with whole clusters in cement and aged in small neutral oak barrels. Bottling is without fining or filtration, and only a small addition of sulfur.
