When we visited the Talmard family in France last year, they unveiled an exciting new addition to their range: their brand new M�con-Lugny Les Geni�vresâ€? It’s a cuv�e that is a nudge fuller, riper and rounder than the Uchizy â€?a more expressive, fruit-forward style perhaps, with a fine,luscious, creamy texture on the palate. You might be familiar with M�con-Lugny from other, larger, producers but Talmards is, to our mind, a massive step-up. This is a hugely impressive Burgundy, and a very fine expression of chardonnay indeed.

The Talmards are without doubt one of the best family estates in the M�connais, and their M�con-Uchizy has become one of our most popular wines from the region.
