Sans Established by Salvatore Pala in 1950, today, sixty years later Mario Pala represents the third generation of the family to run this famous estate. The winery is located in Serdiana, a small town some 20km from Cagliari, the capital of Sardinia and specialises in Vermentino and Cannonau.Brilliant pale straw colour with a subtle tinge of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Lifted pear, lime and green apple scents flow through the olfactory senses followed by some fresh garden herb and wet stone notes. Supple, intensely flavoured and moreish, pear, lime and spicy green apple fruits are layered across the palate. Brisk acidity counterpointed by a gorgeous textural shape. Infusions of fresh herbs and wet stone characters linger through the long saline laced finish.Drink over the next year.Alc. 13.5%
