Sans Named for its location between Mount Macedon and Mount Bullengarook, Between Two Mountains is the most representative expression of the season. In 2023, just one Pinot Noir was produced from the estate, the result of a meticulous selection across the vineyard’s best parcels. A cooler, later season brought a wine of lifted perfume, fine structure, and striking poise.Whole bunches made up nearly a third of the blend, enhancing the aromatic complexity and spice. Maturation took place over 21 months in a range of Stockinger casks (with minimal new oak impact), as well as glass globe fermenters. Seductive and finely detailed, this should be amongst the most captivating wines yet from this remarkable site.
