What is Canet R�tie? Inspired by the winemaking tradition of C�te-R�tie, the Canet team have crafted a Minervois expression of this renowned blend. One in which a small percentage of viognier added to syrah achieves a wine of balance and aromatic complexity. Because in the warm climate of southern France, fast-ripening syrah will often develop high levels of tannin and alcohol. So, here’s where viognier steps in to soften this robust character while imbuing it with floral and aromatic nuances.
