Vermentino, known also as Rolle, is widely grown in southern France and Italy. Reminiscent of sauvignon, with its crisp freshness and bright citrus and green apple fruit, Chants de Closeau from the Pays d’Oc also has an aromatic, floral character and a touch of herbaceous, savoury richness.
