The 20 Barrels Pinot Noir was produced with San Antonio grapes and only 15% of their oldest Pinot vines planted in 1989 at their Fundo El Triángulo estate in Casablanca, which was once the exclusive source of this wine. It was fermented with selected neutral yeasts in small open vats and matured 70% in French oak barrels and 30% in oak foudres for 14 months. It is ripe, with balancing freshness, reflecting a warmer year. Generously spicy and smoky with notes of toasted sesame seeds. Medium-bodied, with vibrant flavours and abundant tannins that will require some time in bottle and/or a powerful meal.
