At Riedel, the shape of a glass is based on thegrape varietyand its characteristics. It also takes into account the impact of the grape skin on the wine, making it possible to classifyred winesaccording to their intensity: light, medium and intense, to enhance appreciation of all their characteristics. “Performance” is a technologically advanced, user-friendly collection of enologist’s glasses. It is the first series of Riedel wine glasses to be fitted with chalices with a slight optical effect. Comprising seven machine-made, lightweight, durable and dishwasher-safe shapes, Performance glasses are made from sparkling fine crystal and feature slender stems and large, stable bases.
