This is an exceptional vintage for this bottling, from a very stony part of the large Adrianna vineyard in Gualtallary, close to the dry riverbed. It is the equivalent of the White Stones white, with north-facing exposure, the warmest exposure, which works well in cooler years such as 2022. The wine has harmony and subtlety, hinting at violets and wet stones. The tannins are abundant but very fine and ripe with a chalky sensation on the finish. This wine can be enjoyed young or will age beautifully for decades.
