Agrumes et Cætera 2023 has a brilliant golden colour. The nose is fine and complex, combining exotic fruit, citrus zest, a hint of iodine and a delicate smoky background. The palate is lively! The wine is taut and precise, but never austere: pineapple, passion fruit and a long finish, marked by noble bitters and a lovely freshness. In the vineyard, the work is respectful of nature: the soil is nourished and aerated by plants sown between the rows, and the grapes are harvested both by hand and by machine, depending on the plot. In the cellar, the wine is made with care to preserve all the aromatic richness of the grapes. Low-temperature fermentation and ageing without the addition of sulphur produce a white wine that is pure, expressive and well-balanced.
