AlzeroCabernet2016–GiuseppeQuintarelli

A top-class red wine from the Valpolicella region, produced by Quintarelli, renowned for its exceptional expertise and ability to produce wines of great complexity and finesse. A wine full of varietal character, bursting in the glass with a restrained blend of black fruit, savoury herbs, pencil lead and crushed stone. The grapes are harvested in several passes, then dried on wooden mats until December. The grapes are then pressed and macerated for 20 days. After 50 days of fermentation, the wine is matured in French barrels for 30 months, then in Slovenian tuns for 4 years. This wine is ideal with rich, refined dishes.
