The idea behind this label comes from the friendship struck between our Wine Buyer, Sophie Lord, and a talented winemaker, Jenny Villalobos, during the hunt for the best Chilean wines from the 2022 harvest. Jenny made this wine from exceptional parcels of Syrah grapes that are grown in the Maule Valley, working her signature magic to create a full-bodied red with intense aromatics of ripe black cherries, rosemary, gravel, cracked pepper, charcuterie meats and smoky tobacco. In the mouth its rounded tannins are perfectly balanced by the freshness of the fruit, culminating in a really long finish.
