The Andersbrook Shiraz from South Africa is a ripe and juicy wine packed with dark fruit flavours and black pepper notes on the palate. It is produced in the coastal area renowned for its fine and expressive fruit.

This Andersbrook Shiraz is the best ever made and reflects the super 2014 vintage. It is proof of how far South African reds have come in the past 10 years. It’s fresh, vibrant, positively humming with sappy wiry fruit with a bright mineral palate, cranberry fruit and a long, essential finish. The vines are trellised and planted in the shale soils towards the North East parts of the Valley bordering the Swartland Region. They are produced from only free run juice and fermented on skins in stainless steel tanks. The wine is left on fine lees for an extended period for greater palate weight and mouthfeel.

Andersbrook is a range that reflects the diversity and character of the Western Cape, an area of cold coastal vineyards and warmer inland regions, stretching up to high mountain peaks. Style and flavour is maintained by adding a portion of the previous year’s wine to the current vintage and wines are kept on their fine lees until bottling to guarantee freshness. Regionally blended single varietal wines that consistently deliver on quality, flavour and style.
