A unicorn wine is defined as one that is hard to find due to a number of reasons. In this vintage, the Anticonstitutionnellement was made in a mere quantity of 300 bottles, and we are proud of being able to secure some for the UK market (Michel usually sends the entire production to Japan, a loyal market of his). What about the wine itself? jointly, a lengthy macerated blend of Macabeo, white Grenache and muscat produces an ultra-powerful and unique orange wine; exaggerated but in the best way possible as it really and truly mirrors the terroir that it comes from – the scorching hot coastline of Roussillon. Orange marmalade, ripe citrus compote, a touch of floral honey, cinnamon, clove and turmeric. We recommend serving lightly chilled and pairing with bold dishes such as African, Caribbean and south-east Asian cuisine.
