This special cuvée is made with the finest Poulsard grapes and delicately vinified without sulphites. An authentic and charming wine, a tribute to a grape whose finesse, with its notes of undergrowth and spices, is matched only by its originality.

Poulsard is a pale red grape, a native of Jura. It is not widely grown as is a delicate, prone to frost and mildew and difficuly to transport. Being light in colour a single varietal cuvee is unusual, it is often blended with Pinot Noir.

A nice easy, though concentrated, fresh berry aroma �notably cranberry in the forefront, pomegranate and cherry in the background. There is an earthy, mineral quality with bit of leather and some woody herb flavours. The palate is fruity, well-balanced with a good length for an easy drinking wine.

It is ideal for your grills, barbecues, cold cuts, Enjoy with salads or poultry �or by itself as an aperitif with lovely friends.
