Although the weather was rather cool and damp, the summer sunshine helped the vines to grow strong, producing healthy bunches of beautifully ripe grapes. This maturity is reflected on the palate in a drySauvignon Blancwith remarkable minerality. Delicate aromas of passion fruit come through on the palate, in perfect harmony with the precise, chalky palate. This chalky finish owes its flavour to the terroir: flinty clay, a reflection of the name of this cuvée.
