This is an attractive and alluring Syrah from one of California’s most highly regarded and pioneering wineries, Arnot-Roberts. An excellent chance to try a distinctly West Coast Syrah, this red is composed of grapes from vineyard sites across the Golden State.

92/100 �The 2022 Syrah California comes from vineyards on the Sonoma Coast, plus the Rancho Arroyo Grande Vineyard in San Luis Obispo County. It was fermented entirely with whole clusters and matured for 10 months in used French oak and concrete. It has bright scents of blackcurrant, white pepper, olive tapenade, prosciutto and floral hints. The medium-bodied palate is chalky and vibrant with herbal black fruit and a long, savory finish.
