Sans Bakery Hill and Hop Nation Brewery continue their collaboration. 2024 marks the fifth release of the Hop Nation Imperial Stout �The Kalash �a beer that spends months in x-Bakery Hill whisky barrels. Once again, the distillery has reclaimed a freshly emptied beer cask and refilled it with five year old x-Bourbon aged whisky, leaving it for two additional years in the ex-stout barrel before bottling. The result is the third edition of Blunderbuss, ramped up with one key introduction -peated malt. The result delivers massive flavours, with a rich, creamy mouthfeel and what seems to be an everlasting finish. One barrel only has been released with an outturn of 252 bottles.
