A blend of full, rich and fruity wines from a single year specially chosen for ageing during four to six years in oak casks prior to bottling. Richness, depth of flavours and a powerful and attractive bouquet are its most striking characteristics.

The wine has intense aromas of red and black fruits balanced by the freshness of notes of eucalyptus. On the palate, red fruits are wrapped in soft, ripe tannins. The long finish reveals complexity and softness, the signature of winemaker Alvaro van Zeller.Served fresh is perfect to accompany creamy cheeses, chocolates and foie gras.

Although ready to drink, this great port will develop further in the bottle and might require some decanting.
