The Cordero di Montezemolo Estate lies in the heart of the Barolo Wine Appelation and is currently run by descendants of the Falletti family who have owned the land since 1340. The wine is made from 100% Nebbiolo, specially selected from specific parcels of the 48 acres of vineyards that surround the ‘Cascinaâ€?(or farm). The wine is matured in a mixture of Slovenian and French oak barrels for 2 years and then spends a further year in bottle before being released. It is bottled unfiltered.

Intense garnet in color, the nose shows floral and spicy notes perfectly blended with hints of violets and roses, also with tobacco, cherries, cocoa and fresh raspberry highlights. The palate is rich, full-bodied both soft and elegant with well integrated tannins.
