This Beaujolais-Villages 2022 is a pure Gamay from a plot of just over one hectare in Cercié, on granite and clay soils. Grown organically, the 65-year-old vines produce ripe, intense fruit. Hand-harvested, the grapes undergo a traditional 15-day semi-carbonic maceration followed by 9 months’ ageing in old oak tuns. The wine is bottled on the estate with a low level of sulphites, for a natural, vibrant and well-balanced wine.
