STORY BEHIND THE LABEL

Named after the Georgian “Day of Luck,” Bedoba is a tribute to the Konchoshvili family and their winemaking heritage that reaches back to 1737. The brand’s identity, created by winemakers Nugzar Ksovreli and Thierry Fontannaz, is deeply rooted in the family’s historical connection to the church – a bond reflected in the name Koncho (meaning “cross”). The label serves as a mark of respect for the 19th-century figure Bishop Petre Konchoshvili, celebrating a legacy where faith and viticulture have long been intertwined.
