Berton Vineyard The Black Shiraz 2022 is a full-bodied and powerful Shiraz produced in South Eastern Australia. The Black Shiraz is a bold example of Australian Shiraz with deep colour and aromas of blackberry and plum over toasty vanilla. In the mouth, this intense shiraz showcases flavours of decadent plum, blueberry and mocha and displays a prolonged length and great structure.

The 2022 vintage is aged in French Oak for additional spicy oak notes, and is a blend of 90% Shiraz, 6% Lambrusco and 4% Durif.

Berton Vineyards was established in 1996, and the estate covers 30 hectares of land on the gently rolling hills, in the sub-region of Eden Valley, Australia. The vine age varies, and only the most flavoursome and darkest fruit was selected to create this wine.
