Bethany is a renowned fifth-generation family run winery in the Barossa Valley. Their GR Shiraz is the pinnacle of their range, made from grapes grown on ancient vines (80-100 years old) in a small single vineyard plot in the foothills of the Barossa Ranges.Deep purple in the glass, GR Shiraz offers concentrated aromas of dark blue and black fruits, backed up by sweet clove spice and toast from ageing in a mix of French and American oak barrels. The palate is rich, powerful and wonderfully structured with supple dark fruits, rich dark chocolate and vibrant, fresh tannins that add structure and vigour to the wine. A truly spectacular example of single-vineyard Barossa Shiraz.
