Porte Romane from the Maddam collection is a tasting beer of character with golden highlights and malty, floral aromas. Porte Romane is made exclusively from barley malts and is finely hopped. Porte Romane is the name of the gateway to the Collegiate Church of Chablis, which dates back to the 12th century. During the Middle Ages, knights and horsemen passing through Chablis would come and nail a horseshoe to their horse to benefit from the protection of Saint-Martin.
