In Salento, Puglia, the wine-growing area is around 100 metres above sea level, benefiting from high average temperatures and medium to low rainfall. The sandy, stony soil gives the wine minerality and freshness. Negroamaro Salento is an intense, persistentred winewith fruity aromas of blackcurrant and wild fruit. Its spicy notes, lifted by a touch of thyme, and subtly full-bodied, offer a very pleasant perfume on the finish.
