This aromatic beer is halfway between aGermanWeißbier (using malted wheat) and a Belgian wheat beer (using spices), this Citra hop-flavoured beer is a wheat beer in a class of its own! Made with top fermentation, it drapes the glass with a veil of yeast and lets out a slightly fragrant bouquet of spices (coriander), lemon and cereals. Light and velvety on the palate, it reveals all its fruity character (mirabelle plum and peach) before giving way, in the finish, to the citrus notes of Citra. A delight with smoked salmon!
