Harvests take place under dazzling sunshine, reflecting the warmth of this vintage. The gathered grapes are on the small side and have thick skins. They release a very lovely intense colour and offer a beautifully crisp, generous fruit as well as silky, refined tannins. This vintage from Château d’Issan is notable for its intensity and precision of fruit from theMerlotvarieties that lend it an irresistible attack. It then develops on the reliability of the Cabernet grapes of this great vintage, without reminding us of the famous 2016 vintage. A very beautiful Margaux of great elegance.
