Château L’Évangile is the first of theBarons de RothschildLafite estates to be certifiedorganic . It is located on a line of Graves, a soil that is quite rare in the Pomerol terroir. The château follows a biodynamic approach, in particular by installing beehives in the vineyard, which encourages biodiversity. Blason de l’Évangile 2020, the last vintage before organic certification, offers superb plum and black berry notes, enhanced by aromas of black olives and chocolate. It is pure on the palate, with supple, well-balanced tannins. It will drink brilliantly for 15 years.
