Kobal’s Blaufränkisch 2022 is a light-bodied Slovenian red wine with silky tannins and good overall balance. Elegant with aromas of red cherries and blueberries, spices, bark and cocoa nibs, its ageing for just seven months in used oak barrels gives it delicate, integrated oak tannins and aromas. On the palate, it is fruity and juicy, with fresh acidity. This 100% Blaufrankisch (indigenousgrape variety ) can be paired with a variety of different dishes, depending on your preferences! With good ageing potential, it will continue to flourish over the next five years.
