Sans A blend of 20% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Meunier and 50% Pinot Noir, the cork on this bottle of Champagne was virtually impossible to extract and required a real He-man effort. Upon eventualextraction the wine displays a pale salmon pink base wine colour with very fine bead showing good persistence. The nose displays delicate aromas of winter strawberry, yeast lees and biscuit. Very refined palate with light flavours of yeast lees, biscuit and winter strawberry followed by a faint hint of toast. Clean dry finish with aftertaste of yeast lees and winter strawberry.Drink now (2011).Alc 12.0%
