Produced by Domaine Christophe Billon in the prestigious Côte Rôtie appellation, this subtle blend ofSyrahandViognierreveals all the power and elegance of this emblematic vineyard. The vines, which are on average around forty years old, are planted on schist, giving the wine a unique personality. This personality is preserved by carefully de-stemming the grapes and maceration for two and three weeks, allowing the grapes to express themselves beautifully. Three rackings were carried out before bottling to improve its quality, allowing the wine to develop lovely aromas of black fruits such as prunes. It is worth keeping for 4 to 5 years to reach full maturity before tasting, but can be enjoyed straight away.
