Based on clay-limestone and marl soils and inspired by the character of vin jaune, this cuvée has been aged in oak barrels for 4 years to develop complex, expressive aromas. The nose reveals notes of dried fruit, roasted nuts, butter and a hint of sweet spices. The palate is lively and fresh, giving way to a full, generous body. This Savagnin will reach its peak in a few years’ time, but for those who can’t wait, it goes wonderfully well with exotic dishes, white meat or cheese!
