Produced on the clay-limestone slopes of the Jura, this Vin Jaune 2018 embodies the excellence of a unique terroir and the century-old expertise of the Fruitière Vinicole d’Arbois, France’s first wine cooperative, founded in 1906. Made exclusively from the Savagningrape variety , this wine is aged for 75 months in oak barrels, under a veil of natural yeasts. This slow and meticulous process gives rise to a wine of exceptional aromatic complexity, blending notes of walnut, fresh hazelnut, undergrowth and curry. Its deep yellow colour with silvery highlights heralds a full-bodied, structured and elegant palate. This characterful wine pairs perfectly with refined dishes such as chicken with morel mushrooms, foie gras, mature Comté cheese or even a bold Roquefort.
