This historic cuvée from ChâteauPuech Hautis a blend of equal parts Carignan,Grenache , Mourvèdre andSyrah . Part of this blend is aged in new French oak barrels. Cante Lebre 2016 offers aromas of raspberry, blackcurrant, liquorice, violet, cooked plum and mocha. It is a full-bodied, deep wine with a silky mouthfeel and velvety tannins. It pairs very well with duck breast with figs, game stew or tournedos Rossini. The big plus is that it is a wine for ageing that is ready to drink, which you can give as a gift or serve at a fine dinner for a special occasion.
