This cracking Merlot is from carefully selected vineyards in the Coastal Region of South Africa’s Western Cape. This exclusive release is wonderfully fruit-forward and showcases this classic Bordeaux variety’s plum fruit character and natural juiciness. During the blending, we used a little parcel of oaked wine to give the finish a lick of sweet spice and add both texture and complexity. It is silky smooth to the finish and great with or without food.
