Round and Nicely Structured Organic Montecucco Rosso

Ruby red, on the nose it expresses deep dark cherries, thyme, roses and some balsamic tones. On the palate it is soft and round with flavours of blackberries and plums with a seam of earthy minerality. Nicely structured with lively tannins on a long, smooth finish.

Cellaring: From now to 2029 Food Pairing: It’s particularly enjoyable with hearty, rustic Italian fare, including pasta dishes with tomato sauce, pizza, and casseroles. Its fruity and spicy notes also make it a good match for grilled meats like beef, lamb, and veal, as well as poultry and charcuterie | ?️ Serve between 18-20°C

Collemassari is one of Italy’s top wineries and in 2014 was voted winery of the year by the authoritative Gambero Rosso. This particularly beautiful and important winery owned by the Tipa family is located in the Montecucco DOC area of Tuscany.Located right next door to the DOCG area of the iconic Brunello di Montalcino, this is considered prime Sangiovese terrain.
