Daniel and Florence Cathiard, owners of Château Smith-Haut-Lafitte, recently acquired the Flora Springs estate. Although it was a fiery year and a difficult harvest as a result, the Cathiards have chosen to launch their first vintage in limited quantities. This wine is a robust blend of 95%Cabernet Sauvignonand 5%Cabernet Franc . Marked by scents of black cherry, blackcurrant and cedar, it is full-bodied and well proportioned.
