Undercounter wine cooler installation

The W18S-SSH from CELLA is a wine cooler designed for both short- and long-term wine storage. It features sliding shelves and zero clearance hinges, preventing the door from hitting adjacent panels when opened – a detail often overlooked by many manufacturers but crucial for flush installations. This undercounter wine fridge is complemented by a matching beer cooler too -BV18-SSH.

Designed specifically for undercounter installation, the cooler comes with adjustable feet up to 880mm and a handy tool to enable you to adjust the front feet when the cooler is in place – there is also a fixing bracket which must be used to prevent the fridge from tipping forward.

LED Touch Screen & built in alarms

The new CELLA storage units feature a LED touch screen display which allows you to change the temperature, lighting mode and brightness of the smooth LED lighting to 4 brightness levels – 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% brightness.

All of the CELLA storage units also have built in alarms to keep your wines at their perfect serving/storage temperature, there are multiple sensors throughout the fridge monitor conditions such as temperature and open doors. The alarms are both visual and audible and can be easily deactivated via the control panel.

Designed with storage of wine in mind

The W18S-SSH includes essential features for long-term wine storage, such as a replaceable charcoal filter located on the back wall. This filter absorbs unwanted odours through its activated charcoal membrane, ensuring a clean environment for your wines.

It also has built-in anti-vibration features – vibrations in a wine fridge come from the compressor during cooling. Most wine fridges use rubber mounts to reduce vibrations, but CELLA adds extra measures for even greater vibration control by utilising an inverter compressor which is digitally controlled. It can adjusts its speed based on demand and ambient conditions. This reduces vibrations, keeps the fridge quiet, and makes it more energy-efficient compared to competitors in the same price range.

Wine Storage Compartment

The capacity of the W18S-SSH is 18 bottles, the shelf spacing allows for Burgundy and Champagne bottles (capacity will reduce), making this 30cm wide undercounter wine cooler a very usable wine cooler for all.

Lighting and Energy Efficiency

CELLA appliances re equipped with very classy smooth strip side lights, the lighting is in keeping with today’s kitchen manufacturer’s who utilise continuous lighting strips in and under cabinets. The lighting is warm white (3000k) and are dimmable – which can be set from 25, 50, 75 or 100% intensity, to meet the demands of most kitchen designers.

Not only are the quiet, the W18S-SSH is rated ‘F’ for energy efficiency and only using 97kWh/annum – Approximately 3x less than a typical fridge freezer. This is partly due to the efficient components the CELLA range uses but also the triple glazed glass door which really helps with insulating the interior of the cabinet and maintaining a constant temperature.
