Undercounter beverage cooler installation

The BV34-SSH from CELLA is a drinks fridge for the storage of multiple bottle/can sizes. It features glass shelves and zero clearance hinges, preventing the door from hitting adjacent panels when opened – a detail often overlooked by many manufacturers but crucial for flush installations. This undercounter drinks fridge is complemented by a matching wine cooler too -W34-BH.

Designed specifically for undercounter installation, the cooler comes with adjustable feet up to 700mm and a handy tool to enable you to adjust the front feet when the cooler is in place – there is also a fixing bracket which must be used to prevent the fridge from tipping forward.

LED Touch Screen & built in alarms

The new CELLA storage units feature a LED touch screen display which allows you to change the temperature, lighting mode and brightness of the smooth LED lighting to 4 brightness levels.

All of the CELLA storage units also have built in alarms to keep your beverages at their perfect serving temperature, there are multiple sensors throughout the fridge monitor conditions such as temperature and open doors. The alarms are both visual and audible and can be easily deactivated via the control panel.

Designed with storage of beverage in mind

The source of vibration within a fridge is due to the compressor running, IE, when it is cooling, most fridges will have the compressor mounted on rubber bushes to minimize the vibrations given off by the compressor, on the most part this will absorb the majority of the vibrations, however, CELLA have incorporated some additional measures to help reduce this further.

Beverage Storage Compartment

The capacity of the BV34-SSH is is 118L which is 119 x 330mL cans, the shelf spacing allows for taller 500mL beer bottles in the middle and they can also be lay down side ways on the fixed shelf at the bottom. The telescopic glass shelves is something new to the beverage storage industry as they extend out on smooth rollers for easy access to bottles at the back.

The internal side walls are textured to allow for better humidity management, ensuring that puddles do not form and the excess water vapour is dispersed evenly throughout the interior.

Lighting and Energy Efficiency

CELLA appliances are equipped with very classy smooth strip side lights, the lighting is in keeping with today’s kitchen manufacturer’s who utilise continuous lighting strips in and under cabinets. The lighting is warm white (3000k) and are dimmable – which can be set from 25, 50, 75 or 100% intensity, to meet the demands of most kitchen designers.

Not only are the quiet, the BV34-SSH is rated ‘C’ for energy efficiency and only using 124kWh/annum – Approximately 3x less than a typical fridge freezer. This is partly due to the efficient components the CELLA range uses but also the triple glazed glass door which really helps with insulating the interior of the cabinet and maintaining a constant temperature.
