This wine is light gold in colour. The nose displays aromas of green apple and white peaches. Full-bodied, the palate is well balanced with concentrated flavours of citrus fruit, white flowers and apricot, which are well-balanced with a crisp acidity and gentle minerality. The time spent on lees adds a lovely textural richness to the wine.

The grapes were gently pressed using a pneumatic press. Fermentation took place in underground stainless steel tanks at 20°C over two to three weeks. After fermentation, the wine was matured on lees for eight months in tank before bottling. The bottling of ‘Sur Lieâ€?wines cannot legally start until after the first Thursday in the March following the vintage.
