Dark purple red with violet hue, this wine offers a rich bouquet of ripe black fruits, including blackcurrant and plum, complemented by subtle notes of tobacco, vanilla, and spice. The palate is smooth and well-balanced, with fine tannins and a long, harmonious finish. Ready to drink now but has very good ageing potential.

STORY BEHIND THE LABEL

Château du Paradis is located in a tranquil setting along the banks of the Dordogne, in the commune of Vignonet, a small village located near Saint-Emilion consisting of 8 hectares. The average age of the vines is 40 years old. The Château is owned and operated by the Bardet family who have been making wine in this region since the 1920s. The Bardet family puts all their efforts and resources into the service of the land and nature, applying sustainable cultivation methods, in order to reveal wines that reflect and typify their terroir.
