STORY BEHIND THE WINE

Located in the AOC Saint-Julien, the Château Gloria vineyard covers 50 hectares of vines. The Henri Martin estates, including Château Gloria, have earned the ISO 140001 and HVE3 certifications. The vineyard of Château Gloria is cultivated with the principles of sustainable viticulture with organic and bio-control products. 2019 is already shaping up to be an exceptional vintage ending in -9. A rather mild and dry winter was followed by a rainy spring full of weather contrasts. The technical teams worked very quickly to keep the vineyard in perfect sanitary condition. Then came summer with its scorching temperatures. For this 2019 vintage, the harvest lasted from September 23 to October 4. The grapes were harvested at ideal ripeness thanks to a very meticulous division of vines even within each plot.
