It has a robust, shimmering colour. The initial nose opens onto black fruits of blackcurrant and redcurrant, and small red fruits to then develop toasted, smoky notes. The ensemble gives an aromatic bouquet that’s very open and delicious. The attack is supple but the tannic structure quickly supports it give a wine with good tannins and a harmonious texture. The overall balance is highlighted by a pleasant volume. Its palate has fresh aromas of black fruits and a lightly toasted note that lingers to the finish.
