Located in the village of Bages, Château Haut de la Bécade is a family business with original parcels going back over 7 generations. A typical Pauillac wine, made from parcels belonging to the château. With dense garnet red with purple hues, this wine reveals a fresh, intense nose of mint and liquorice as well as a bouquet of blackcurrant, black cherry, roasted coffee and pepper. This Pauillac has plenty of tannins, is very chiselled but has a good finesse. Ideal pairings for this Pauillac are red meat dishes like the famous entrecôte bordelaise steak.
